By accessing and using Udaan Library's seat booking service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Service Description
Udaan Library provides a platform for booking study seats on a monthly or quarterly basis. Our services include:
- Individual study pods with AC facilities
- High-speed Wi-Fi access
- Silent study environment
- Time slot options: Morning (6am-1pm), Evening (1pm-8pm), or Full Day (6am-8pm)
- Monthly and quarterly booking options
3. Booking and Payment
3.1 Booking Process: Bookings can be made online through our website. You must provide accurate information including your name, phone number, and email address.
3.2 Payment Methods: We accept both online payments (UPI/Card) and cash payments. For cash payments, the booking will be held for 24 hours pending confirmation by our admin team.
3.3 Payment Confirmation: Online payments are confirmed immediately upon successful transaction. Cash payments require admin confirmation before the booking is activated.
3.4 Pricing: Prices are displayed on our website and may vary based on time slot and duration. We reserve the right to modify prices, but existing bookings will not be affected.
4. Booking Duration and Renewal
4.1 Duration: Monthly bookings are valid for one month from the start date. Quarterly bookings are valid for three months from the start date.
4.2 Renewal: You may renew your booking before it expires. Renewal is subject to seat availability and current pricing.
4.3 Expiration: Bookings automatically expire at the end of the booked period. You must renew or make a new booking to continue using the service.
5. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the study space responsibly and maintain a quiet environment
- Keep your seat clean and tidy
- Respect other users' privacy and study time
- Not damage or misuse library property
- Follow all library rules and regulations
- Provide accurate and up-to-date contact information
- Notify us immediately of any issues or concerns
6. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Sharing your booking with unauthorized persons
- Using the space for commercial activities without permission
- Creating excessive noise or disturbance
- Bringing food or beverages that may cause damage or disturbance
- Smoking or consuming alcohol on the premises
- Any illegal activities
7. Seat Availability
7.1 Availability: Seat availability is displayed in real-time on our website. However, availability is subject to change and we cannot guarantee a specific seat will be available at the time of booking.
7.2 Seat Assignment: We reserve the right to reassign seats if necessary due to maintenance, facility issues, or other operational requirements. We will provide reasonable notice when possible.
8. Limitation of Liability
Udaan Library shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the booking in question.
9. Privacy
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Account Security
10.1 Account Information: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
12. Termination
12.1 By You: Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a booking is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
12.2 By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to our service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in prohibited activities.
13. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or your use of our service shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts.
